Our rose hips are hand-harvested from wild hillside bushes in late autumn, when the fruit turns bright red and reaches an optimal concentration of natural organic acids. After picking, the hips are washed, halved, and carefully cleared of inner hairs, then spread on racks for gradual drying at gentle temperatures below 40 degrees. This meticulous process preserves their vivid color and bold, pleasantly tart flavor with a slight astringency.
